What are Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)?
Career and Technical Student Organizations, commonly referred to as CTSOs, are youth organizations designed to support students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Students enrolled in CTE courses are encouraged to join and participate in related Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).
These organizations are considered an integral part of CTE. Members are provided an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, community service projects and local, state and national competitive events, which enhance the CTE instructional programs. Through these youth leadership organizations, students have the opportunity to develop strong leadership skills and help them achieve long-term success.
