Registration For Spring 2021 Courses

Registering for an Amarillo Virtual Academy (AVA) online class is simple and easy, with two different methods of registration for your convenience.

Registration for Spring 2021 AVA courses will be open December 7, 2020 through January 4, 2021.

• AVA Spring 2021 classes are held January 4, 2021 through May 28, 2021.

Registration Method 1: Online

To register online, all you need is a free RevTrak account, a credit or debit card, and the name of the course or courses you want to take. Visit the RevTrak website (Opens in new window) to sign up for the account and to place your order online.

Reminder: Spring online registration will not appear on RevTrak until December 7, 2020.

Please note: If you qualify for AISD free and reduced lunch, you will be able to select that option when online registration is opened. If you prefer to pay in person, you can do so Monday through Friday (excluding school holidays) between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The discounted course costs can be found in the Course Costs section below.

Registration Method 2: In Person

To register in person at AmTech Career Academy, you may download and print the Amarillo Virtual Academy registration form (Opens in new window), fill it out, and bring it in with your payment in the exact amount of cash or check. Forms are also available at the AmTech Office at 3601 Plains Blvd. in Amarillo, TX 79102.

Please note: If you qualify for AISD free and reduced lunch, you will be able to select that option when online registration is opened. If you prefer to pay in person, you can do so Monday through Friday (excluding school holidays) between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The discounted course costs can be found in the Course Costs section below.

You may bring the form in on weekdays (excluding school holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Important Notes:

• Driver Education registration is made directly with Virtual Drive USA at 817-771-3317
• TxVSN registration and payment will be made with your high school counselor

Course Costs

Amarillo Virtual Academy Course Costs:

• The cost for Amarillo ISD students is $130 per course
• The cost for AISD students who qualify for free and reduced lunch is $63 per course. In order to receive this discount, students must register for AVA courses in person at our campus.
• The cost for other Region 16 students is $175 per course

• TxVSN course costs vary from $250 to $400 depending on the network provider
