Electrical Pathway

The Electrical Pathway explores the occupations and educational opportunities associated with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. This Pathway may also include exploration into installing and repairing telecommunications cable including fiber optics.

What You Can Learn:

  • Common hand and power tools

  • Installation of electrical equipment

  • Reading of electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications

What You Can Gain:

  • Electrical Apprenticeship Certificate, Level 1

  • Apprentice Electrician

What You Can Become:

  • Electrician

  • Electrical Lineman

  • Security and Fire Alarm Installer

  • Telecommunication Line Installer/Repairer

  • Principles of Construction*
